• Zurna, an important traditional local musical instrument, was originally made from tree bark. Over time, it began to be crafted from bent copper and brass sheets. This instrument has been referred to by various names throughout history such as "curna," "zurr," "sarna," "sorna," and in Farsi as "sernay." The instrument widens downward from its head, and to play it, a reed mouthpiece called a "sipsi" is attached. It features seven holes, with six on the top and one on the bottom.
